...Gretchen GuandoloGretchen Guandolo joined Updata Capital in 1999.She is a Vice President and currently leads Updata's involvement in the federal IT services market.Ms. Guandolo
has executed over 20 transactions within the enterprise software and IT services market, including such notable deals as the sale of Digital Systems International to CACI, divestiture of several Computer Associates' (CA) business units, the sale of Landmark Systems (LDMK) to Allen Systems Group
and the sale of ARC (ALRC) to Pomeroy Solutions. Prior to joining Updata, Ms. Guandolo was an Associate with FBR Technology Venture Partners where she analyzed investment opportunities primarily in the enterprise application software and telecommunications markets.Ms. Guandolo started her career with Arthur Andersen in their Global Emerging Markets practice.As Director of Administration, she helped establish the AA Emerging Markets office in Moscow, Russia growing the office to 200 employees working on several USAID and World Bank projects.She
also helped establish the St. Petersburg and Tashkent, Uzbekistan offices.Ms. Guandolo later worked as Assistant Project Manager on a $30 million Egyptian Privatization Project funded by USAID in Cairo, Egypt. Ms. Guandolo graduated with a B.A. from the University of Washington Jackson School of International Studies, and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.She is a board member and Vice President of Destination Cure, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis.
