Gretchen works for KUAC TV 9/FM 89.9 as the Assistant General Manager since October 2011 and Director of Development & for KUAC TV9/FM 89.9 since 2003.
Prior to 2003, she was Major and Planned Giving Director for the American Red Cross Dayton Area Chapter; Director of Development for Junior Achievement for Dayton & the Miami Valley from; and Development Officer/Liaison to the United Way for the Red Cross.
Gretchen is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and received her BA from The University of Texas.
Gretchen has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) since 1999, and has served on the AFP Alaska board since 2006; as president in 2009 and is currently the chapter's Youth in Philanthropy Chair.

Gretchen has also served on the board and as Sergeant at Arms of the Fairbanks Rotary Club, on the board of Blood Bank of Alaska, as a Girl Scout Leader, a Junior Achievement Classroom Volunteer, and twenty years as a Red Cross Volunteer (Health & Safety Instructor, Lifeguard, and Disaster Mental Health Volunteer).
