has over 20 years experience in the China market.From 1994-1998, Mr. Whitehorn held the position of Vice-President, Seagram Asia Pacific where he was responsible for developing and expanding Seagram's business in Shanghai and Eastern China.From 1985-1994, Mr. Whitehorn worked in Shanghai for John Portman and Associates, an international architectural and real estate development firm.As Development Manager, Mr. Whitehorn was responsible for negotiating with various PRC government agencies and developing Shanghai Centre, a US$ 200 million real estate complex.After completion of the project in 1990, Mr. Whitehorn held the position of Deputy General Manager assisting in the overall management of Shanghai Centre.Prior to his career in China, Mr. Whitehorn worked three years as Export Sales Manager for International Marketing Group, Ltd., an export management company based in Los Angeles.He also worked three years as a Political Analyst for the Department of Defense, reporting on political and economic events and trends in the People's Republic of China.Mr. Whitehorn
has resided in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.He graduated with a Master of International Management degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in 1982.
