4. GREG WEST, ADVISOR, REGIONS 6 & INTERNATIONAL Greg has resigned as an APCUG Advisor; he continues as Chair of the Marketing Committee. His main focus now will be running marketing campaigns for APCUG. We thank him for all he has done for his region groups and wish him well as he continues as Chair of the Marketing Committee.

Both are an interactive session where you can ask questions, watch a special presentation or participate in a workshop environment.BOOK NOW Hear about what's new in: Mobile technology with tablets and smartphones, as well as PCs / Mac computers, Laptops, Internet tips and tricks and the ever popular "Social Media". Greg is a former Mac instructor for Lambton College. He now gives live tech webinars, online training, and volunteers his time running his very successful iPad Meetups each month. He is an International Advisor for the Association of Personal Computer User Groups and is a member of their Speakers Bureau. Organizations such as the Retired Teachers Association and the Alzheimer Society's Board of Directors hired Greg as their keynote speaker and workshop leader demonstrating the "How To" for the iPad and have had him return for more tech talks.

Sarnia Computer Users Group Greg West, Advisor Region 6 and Internationa Webmaster for Sarnia Computer Users Group (SCUG.ca) Greg West is also an affiliate member of COMP, in Port Huron, MI. For the past 10 years, he has reviewed tech books for O'Reilly Media. For many years he has also written a monthly tech column for a local newspaper. Greg created two free computer centers in his community: one has 30 PCs which is now run by church volunteers and the president of SCUG, his computer users group. Another church gives him a room for free tech workshops to run separately. He is designing a free website (alternatecloud. com) to assist seniors with a variety of tech topics. In his spare time, Greg volunteers as a TV camera operator and studio tech for TVCogeco, a local cable TV company. He taught Mac computer courses at his home town college for three years. The first home computer he owned was in 1984 was a Mackintosh 128k and he has worked with all Windows OS since 3.0. Today he has a Mac laptop with Windows 7.
