Greg Acholonu, Director of Operations/Senior Teacher
Greg Acholonu, Life Master USCF, started playing chess in 1972 and played in his first tournament in New York in December 1973.
By 1978, he
achieved Candidate Master (Expert); in 1982, he
achieved Master; and in 1992, he
achieved Senior Master.
is also a three-time U.S. Chess Center Champion and the 1992 Maryland Closed Champion.
Mr. Acholonu has enjoyed working with the U.S. Chess Center since 2001.
