He served as Director of New Products for WEYERHAEUSER COMPANY'S BUILDING PRODUCTS DIVISION from 1980-1983 and developed their industry acclaimed FIRST CHOICESM product diversification program that zoomed from zero to $120 million in annual sales in less than three years.
In 1984, Mr. Alford accepted the challenge of directing both the new product and new business development programs for CLOSETMAID where he established and managed their new product design center.

Mr. Alford was graduated from AUBURN UNIVERSITY with a B.S. Degree in Industrial Management and from GEORGIA COLLEGE with an M.B.A. Degree.
