She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, Northridge, Master of Science Degree in Public School Administration from Pepperdine University and a Master of Science Degree from La Verne University in Educational Psychology.
She also holds a Masters in Governance from the California School Boards Association.

Gloria has served as a teacher, counselor, principal and district-level administrator for the Los Angeles Unified School District, the second largest school district in the United States.
Gloria has been a passionate and powerful advocate for education and a role model for thousands of young people in both her professional and personal life.
