Prior to joining Advisen, Glenn worked for Marsh Inc. for over 25 years.
He most recently was a member of the Knowledge Management Resource Center, directing the content and knowledge management activities for over 40 professional practices.
This included organizing a decentralized group of 75 new and existing knowledge managers into a national network, including regular calls, working groups, and annual conferences.
also helped to design and implement a web-based Knowledge Exchange system, containing over 10,000 documents and used by more than 6,000 colleagues per month, and developed the content migration strategy to review and consolidate nearly 300 separate corporate databases and content repositories, eliminating significant redundancy and obsolescence.
As a Managing Director of Marsh, Inc., Glenn served for 10 years as Practice Manager for the global Risk Management Information Consulting (RMIC) practice.
RMIC guided clients in the best application of technology to their risk information, including systems studies, data analysis, and implementation management, and designed and implemented solutions for process improvement, change management, and organizational re-engineering.
He also served as the editor of the RISQ newsletter, and as the manager of Marsh Risk Consulting's pricing, invoicing, and time/expense recording needs for over 500 professionals.
Before that, Glenn was a risk analyst in the Risk Management Services unit for several years, conducting numerous projects in the areas of loss forecasting, captive feasibility review, cost allocation, and retention level analysis.
He designed and developed several standardized statistical, financial, and coverage modeling systems, and was a course developer and instructor for Marsh's Professional Development program.
Glenn started with Marsh & McLennan's Risk Information Services Group in March 1979 as a programmer, contributing to many standard and customized risk management information systems.
He became a Unit Manager in the New York profit center in 1980, and was promoted to Manager of Product Development and Support in 1982, and Manager of Facilities & Standards in 1985.
Glenn received his Master of Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University in December 1986.
Previously, he had graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in Computer Science from Long Island University in 1979.
