Glenn Rissmiller is a 1963 graduate of Notre Dame of Green Pond High school and a 1967 graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in Accounting Management/Education. Glenn began his teaching career at Slatington High School in 1967 where he taught Business Education.
He coached various sports during his tenure at Northern Lehigh including football as an assistant coach from 1969 to 1971; Head Cross Country Coach where his teams were the Centennial League Champs from 1978 to 1982 and the District 11Champions in 1982; and Track as both an assistant and head Coach, and as Head Coach of the Girls Basketball Team from 1994-1996.
Glenn's greatest years in coaching were as Head Boy's Basketball Coach from 1971 to 1985. His teams garnered 6 Centennial League Championships and during the 1981-1982 season the boys basketball team was the PIAA State AA Eastern Champions. Glenn was the Morning Call's Boys' Basketball Coach of the Year in 1982 and the Colonial League Girls' Basketball Coach of the year in 1995.
He was the Northern Lehigh Athletic Director from 1994 to 2006 where he received the Colonial League Athletic Director of the Year during the 1995-1996 and 1999-2000 school years and the District 11 Bob Stimmel Colonial League Athletic Director of the Year in 2000 and 2006.
Glenn has also been a PIAA football and track official for 39 years, a member of the McDonald's Game Board of Directors, District 11 Football Rules Interpreter, and President of the Eastern PA Football Officials Chapter and the Lehigh Valley Track and Field Officials Chapter. Glenn was inducted into the Lehigh Valley Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002; the McDonald's All- Star Football Game Hall of Fame in 2004; and the Northeast Region Luzerne Chapter PA Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.

Tkach was joined in the class of 2004 by Palmerton graduate and former collegiate and high school football coach George Halfacre and PIAA official and current Northern Lehigh athletic director Glenn Rissmiller.
Glenn Rissmiller has been involved in athletics, particularly football, for 33 years.He is an official, the president of the Eastern PA Football Officials Chapter and District XI rules interpreter.
Rissmiller was also a coach in basketball, football, track and cross country.Currently he is the Northern Lehigh athletic director.
He graduated from Notre Dame Green Pond in 1963 where he played football, basketball and track.
