2015 Inductee - Glenn Carano
Glenn Carano currently serves as the general manager of the Silver Legacy Resort Casino in Reno, Nev. Prior to that, he served as director of marketing since the Resort Casino's opening in July 1995.
Before joining Silver Legacy, Carano served as director of marketing at the Eldorado Hotel/Casino for eight years.
Carano attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on a football scholarship and was later drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.
served as the back-up quarterback to Roger Staubach and Danny White from 1977 to 1983.

went to two Super Bowls and five NFC Championship games.
He then joined the Pittsburgh Maulers of the now defunct USFL in 1984 and later retired from the National Football League in 1985 where he joined his family's business at the Eldorado Hotel/Casino.
has since stayed an active leader within the gaming and tourism Industry.
In 1995 he served a four-year term as a board member of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority and Chairman of the Marketing Committee.
He has recently been appointed again as a board member beginning in 2009.
Carano has also been a board member with the Airport Authority in Reno for eight years and served six years as Commissioner with the Nevada Athletic Commission.
He also stays busy in the community and has served as a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and a member of the Partners In Education with Sparks High School and Wooster High School.
Carano's main focus and proudest accomplishment are his
wife, Lamise, and three daughters, Kasey, Gina and Christi.
