GLEN MAXION
is a nationally recognized award-winning figure and portrait painter whose work in soft pastel, oils and watercolor span more than 30 years. Glen has been featured in numerous books and magazines including the Artist Magazine and Pastel Journal where Glen has been selected 5 years for the prestigious Pastel 100 Issue. Glen is a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies Master's Circle, a Pastel Society of America Master Pastelist, and an artist member of the San Diego Museum of Art Artist Guild and Pastel Society of San Diego Glen Maxion She is a diplomat of the Ecole de Vitrail et de Creation, Monthey, Switzerland. There, during a 3 year intensive program, she furthered her studies in drawing, painting and design, and mastered all aspects of the stained glass process. Her work has been in several European exhibitions including the Swiss Museum of Stained Glass. Lisa's professional stained glass studio is called Verre Designs where her specialties include custom glass art for residential, commercial, and liturgical settings.

Glen Maxion's pastel "Small World" Glen Maxion is an award-winning San Diego based figure and portrait painter. His art depicts the people, beaches, light, and color of Southern California. He paints in soft pastel, oils, and watercolor. Glen's paintings have appeared in both The Artist's Magazine and The Pastel Journal where he has been selected four years for the Top 100 issue and has been a featured artist. His work was also included in a special exhibit of award winning pastels at the Butler Institute of American Art in Ohio. Glen is a popular teacher at the Art Academy of San Diego, a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, and an artist member of the San Diego Artist Guild.
