Gina has 20+ years of experience as a leader in business. Her background includes the restaurant industry, manufacturing/distribution, and a long, successful career as a local and regional leader for a Fortune 500 retailer, supporting 22 of their stores across 11 states and managing $30M in sales and inventory. She was recognized over the course of her career there as a 3 time recipient of the "Inverted Pyramid Award" given for consistently demonstrating servant leadership, and won the "Anniversary Cup" award for outstanding preparation, execution and results by a team during a key volume period.
She has experience in sales, marketing, customer service, business development/strategy implementation, coaching and training. She has a passion for great service and a focus on people development. In 2006 she started her own company, Personal Success Partners, which is devoted to helping companies and individuals embrace, develop and maximize their personal and professional potential.
Gina is a Midwestern native and graduate of Columbia College, in Columbia MO. She was a successful high school athlete, earning letters in 3 sports and MVP honors in 2 of the 3. She also competed in track and field as an AAU junior Olympian. She loves all sports, still plays a few recreationally and watches amateurs and pros whenever she can.
She is also passionate about community service and leadership and is very involved in the business and volunteer community in Charlotte. She is an Area Director and Trainer for Business Network International supporting 10 local chapters and their leadership teams. She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Women Business Owners, where she was recognized in 2008 as the "Rookie of the Year" and honored in 2012 as a finalist for "Woman Business Owner of the Year. Gina is a member of the Charlotte Christian Chamber and Southpark Toastmasters.
Gina's desire to make a contribution at ChoicePoint Achievement stems from the fact that she believes that everyone has amazing potential, natural gifts and talents and a passion for some type of vocation. She hopes that by helping young people focus on developing their vocational potential and path proactively, they'll have a better opportunity to pursue their passion and purpose and build a strong social and economic foundation and future for themselves and their families.
Gina and her husband David, who is a Licensed General Contractor and Radio Host, welcomed their first grandchild in August of 2012 and look forward to watching him develop his potential.
