by M. L. Giggleman Houston Area League of PC Users (Part Three of Several Parts) [Editor's Note - Ms. Giggleman is still on an e-mail break from her series.] Reader's e-mail: Q. In Microsoft Word, how do I change the default font? A. Keep in mind that by changing the default document font, old documents will adjust to display in the changed font when opened. In the format menu, select the Font tab. Select the font you wish to use as default. Next, click on the Default button (lower left of the dialog box). Finally, click on the OK button to finish. Note that you may receive a request for confirmation after clicking on the Default button. Q. In Microsoft Word, can you view formatting symbols. Formatting symbols are the nonprinting symbols like the space indicators and paragraph marks?
