Geraldine R. Matabang
Education and Training Program Director Ge is a licensed architect and environmental planner. She has Master of Artsin Urban & Regional Planning and Bachelor of Science in Architecture degrees from the University of the Philippines. Before joining TAO-Pilipinas, she worked for architectural design firms SmithGroupGexis and Leandro V. Locsin Partners. She was a recipient of the UNDP-TUGI Young Leadership Award for Good Urban Governance in 2002 and placed first in the 2005 Environmental Planning Licensure Exams. As a Young Researcher Grantee of Provention Consortium, she completed an action research on "Integrating Disaster Risk Management in Site Planning and House Design of Resettlement Projects in Albay" in 2008. She joined TAO-Pilipinas as a member of its Board of Trustees in 2001 and worked full-time to head the Young Professionals Program in 2005.
