GERALD A. PARKER, CPA
Gerald A. Parker, CPA is President and CEO of PMK Consultants, Inc. (This firm is not a CPA firm.) Mr. Parker has over 30 years of diversified experience in information technology consulting. He has also served as President of Marchbanks & Parker, Inc., a software development company, and was a Manager of consulting with Ernst & Young. He has held several other responsible positions, including serving as programming manager for a computer services company, as business manager for an auto dealer, and as an auditor with KPMG. Mr. Parker has extensive experience in developing and implementing software applications for manufacturers and distributors and has managed over 15 turnkey implementations of new computer systems. In addition, he has directed numerous package software implementation projects. Notable accomplishments include helping to develop some of the first personalized computer generated letters for direct mail clients, the design and development of the first successful advance sale route distribution software package, and design of a comprehensive financial and personnel management system for one of the first job corps centers. He also has extensive experience with computer systems including Microsoft Server networks, IBM mainframes and AS/400 systems. He is knowledgeable and experienced in a number of technical areas including local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) design and software applications development and implementation. Mr. Parker has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He conducts seminars on technical subjects for CPA's and has written articles for the Journal of Accountancy and other publications. He is a licensed commercial pilot and flight instructor and conducts several seminars each year for pilots on a variety of aviation subjects. Mr. Parker served ten years as an officer and Navigator in the U.S. Air Force, both active duty and reserves.
