practice has focused principally in the areas of futures and derivatives law and regulation, corporate finance and securities law and regulation.For 38 years, Mr. Fishman
represented public and private issuers of securities, underwriters, futures brokerage firms, securities brokerage firms, equipment leasing firms, manufacturing firms and entrepreneurs, both on and off the Internet.He
was also involved in international business and finance transactions for a variety of clients in England, Israel, France, Switzerland, West Germany, Taiwan and in the Caribbean.Mr. Fishman
has written extensively in various publications and law reviews in the areas of futures law, securities law and leasing.He
taught both securities and commodities law in continuing legal education courses and law school classes and has spoken for various trade and industry groups.For seven years, he was an Adjunct Professor of Law in the IIT Chicago Kent College of Law's Graduate Program in Financial Services Law.Mr. Fishman has been nationally acknowledged as an innovative expert in the financial services/futures/derivatives/securities fields and has served as an arbitrator both for the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. and the National Futures Association.Mr. Fishman serves on and has been an officer of the Futures Law and Securities Law Committees of the Chicago, Illinois State, American and International Bar Associations.He is also a member of the Law and Compliance Division of the Futures Industry Association.In addition to receiving his Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University, he holds an undergraduate degree in Investment Management/Business Finance from the same University.
