Cyril and Methodius and under the guidance of our new pastor, Father George Sandor, OFM Conv., committees were formed and organizations were combined.
As a parish council member of the old St. Stan's, my wife became involved with the design of the new worship space. She also helped to form the new Liturgy and Worship Commission and became a very involved parishioner.

Cyril and Methodius pastor Father George Sandor, OFM Conv., Friar Brad was also influenced by a few other people he met along the way. After Mass one day, an elderly woman asked him if he wanted to be a priest."That struck home," said Friar Brad.Another instance occurred when he went on a sailing excursion with his best friend. He and his friend came onto shore to eat lunch, where he met a man who said, "I think you have a vocation to be a priest.""I was shocked," remembered Friar Brad."I kept searching until God put me where I wanted to go."Friar Brad said when he was 18 years old, he decided he wanted to apply to the Franciscans Order. After spending a year in discernment, he spent six months in a period of acceptance. When Friar Brad entered the novitiate phase of his journey and lived with other friars in his community, he learned about the fundamental principles and obligations of the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. He also learned about the prayer traditions and the underlying spirituality of the community. Today, Friar Brad lives with 16 other Franciscan friars.
