CNH District - Jul 25 05

Rev. Dr. George Naeem started the CNH District first ministry to Arabic speaking people last year as part of the ministries of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sacramento.
Dr. Naeem, who had lived in Sacramento at one time, started his ministry with personal acquaintances in the Arabic community. He worked to build a small group of Arabic speaking people where he could share the Gospel message, have Bible studies and worship held in homes of members of this community. Services in Arabic are now held on Saturday mornings when Dr. Naeem is in Sacramento. Several from the Arabic ministry attended the recent church picnic. A current goal is to build a relationship between the Arabic speaking part of the congregation with the non-Arabic speaking congregation. Dr. Naeem is the Executive Director of the Biblical Orthodox Lutheran Mission (BOLM) based out of Denver, Colorado. Besides planting Arabic missions like the one at Trinity Sacramento, he is responsible for an Internet ministry to Arabic speaking peoples of North Africa and the Middle East. Sharing Christ's love to a people who have known only war, terrorism, poverty and hopelessness is critical to saving the lost souls in that part of the world and the Internet provides an effective tool. If you would like more information on Arabic ministries or questions on the Islam religion, contact Dr. Naeem at Drg eorgenaeem@comcast.net.
