George Motz also served as president and CEO of Melhado, Flynn and Associates.
He resigned as Quogue mayor after pleading guilty last October in Central Islip. Motz admitted conducting a scheme known as "cherry-picking" from November 2000 to June 2005. Prosecutors say he secretly channeled more profitable stock trades into his firm's own account and less profitable into his clients' accounts.
