George R. Koscho President, Association of Information Technology Professionals Systems Analyst, City of Chesapeake, Department of Information Technology George has over 35 years of Information Technology experience in the public sector in Virginia, having held positions for the cities of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Newport News and for the Virginia Community College Systems.His
experience has included almost all aspects of the Information Technology profession including computer operations, programming, systems analysis, software procurement, project management and department management.George is currently employed by the City of Chesapeake Virginia as a Systems Analyst.George holds an MPA (Masters in Public Administration) and a BS (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.He
obtained a CDP (Certificate in Data Processing) in 1973.
George's involvement in AITP dates back to 1967 and has included leadership positions at the chapter, region and association level.He
is currently the Association Executive Vice President/President Elect.
