Initial appointments are George R. Cavey, B.Sc., P. Geo., a highly-experienced, Vancouver-based geologist who has previously worked on the Panasqueira tungsten project in Portugal, and Brett Matich, a businessman with extensive experience in the development and financing of mining ventures in Australia and Canada.
Mr. Cavey has over 35 years' experience and is President of OreQuest Consultants, a company providing geological consulting to resource companies, both public and private.
Mr. Cavey has supervised mineral exploration projects throughout North, South, and Central America as well as in Europe and Africa since 1982.
has authored or been involved in the writing of hundreds of geological reports for Canadian junior resource company prospectus and public financing documents.
Mr. Cavey is past president of the Canadian Council of Professional Geoscientists and was the recipient of the 2004 C.J. Westerman Memorial Award - BC's highest recognition award for a professional geoscientist for his outstanding and professional contributions.
was the recipient of the 2010 Canadian Professional Geoscientist Award which is the highest recognition award for a professional geoscientist in Canada.
has also acted as consultant to both the BC Securities Commission
and the TSX Venture Exchange in matters relating to National Instrument 43-101 mining and mineral exploration disclosure issues from 2001 until present.
He is currently on the Canadian Securities Administrators Mining Technical Monitoring and Advisory Committee.
Mr. Cavey is also an officer or director in other exploration and development companies including Orko Silver Corp., Orex Minerals Inc., Mansfield Minerals Inc. and Quadro Resources Ltd.
