Gaston Maloney

Gaston Maloney went to Nelson Street Boys RC, then CIC, Senior Cambridge 1959. After Saints he worked briefly in the Immigration Department, until November 1961 then joined Barclays Bank DCO. He worked with them for about 11 years with overseas postings in St.Lucia, Montserrat, Belize and then Grand Cayman. Gaston transferred
back to Trinidad in early 1972, resigned May 1972 then joined Cayman Insurance Centre as a Jamaica Mutual Life Salesman -- Million Dollar Roundtable. He soon left and began working with Northwester Magazine and Caribbean Life and Time. Gaston joined the Bodden Holdings Group as Manager Cayman Economy Cars Ltd Dec 1979, Sales Manager VamptMotors Ltd. A Charter member of the Lions Club of Grand Cayman he wasthe first Secretary then Vice President. An avid lover of music, he played the Cello Music Festival in the 60's, played Guitar, Bass Guitar and had combos. Gaston is known for his generous support of the arts as well as the Cayman community, hosting fundraisers and sponsoring local cultural activities.
