5 St Andrew's Hill Gary Pons Gary Pons Gary has significant experience in all areas of criminal law. He has both prosecuted and defended in many serious cases including, murder, rape, serious fraud and one of the largest people trafficking cases to be tried in the United Kingdom. He has expertise in all matters of asset recovery, from cash forfeiture to restraint, confiscation and enforcement. Gary is experienced in regulatory work in Magistrates Court. He has appeared for local authorities and defendants in matters as wide ranging as environmental prosecutions, trademark and copyright, trade descriptions, and fire safety prosecutions. Gary has appeared for requested persons in Extradition cases in both the Magistrates Court and the High Court, including cases of Murder, People Trafficking, and Fraud. He has experience of prosecutions under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. He has defended local authorities in County Court proceedings. Gary regularly advises in relation to prison law and has particular expertise in the area of parole. Gary joined Chambers from a solicitors' firm where he was employed as an in-house advocate.
