Gary Keckley is the sole member of Green Hills and the owner of GoodWorks, and he said Tuesday that he's foreclosing 'to clear out some liens and other issues and get clear title.'
group will continue to build out the site as a condo development, and that five of the eight existing units have been sold, while another has been leased.
said a total of 35 units are planned at the site.
said the units that have already moved were sold at the asking price, 'so it's not a market issue, it's not a project issue.
It's a marketing issue … I'm bullish on it.
And that's why I took it over, and am basically now cleaning up the balance sheet so that we can move forward.'
The site was purchased by Green Hills
Keckley said he was the architect originally, but took over the project in February 2009 and bought the mortgage in June of this year.
The Scope has never taken a close look at the subdivision, but it seems like the site should be attractive as a residential destination, if Keckley
can get the financial re-engineering right.
