Gale Valtinson, Ph.D. Dr. Valtinson
is trained and experienced in the neuropsychological assessment of adolescent and adult patients with traumatic brain injuries, dementias, cognitive and neuropsychiatric sequelae of CVAs, developmental neurological abnormalities, attention deficit disorders, and other cognitive impairments.In addition to neuropsychological evaluations, Dr. Valtinson
carries a small outpatient psychotherapy caseload, and she
provides some day treatment services in our Renville County office. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dr. Valtinson
joined the Centers' staff in 2002.Dr. Valtinson completed her doctoral program at Ball State University, then a pre-doctoral internship specializing in neuropsychology at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center.She was employed as a licensed psychologist by the Neuropsychology Center of Northern Virginia before relocating to Minnesota.
