Gail M. Smith is the publisher and managing director at Impacto Latin News where she oversees overall operations of the company including long term strategy.
She leads key initiatives to drive business results and position Impacto as a leading media company.
Prior to joining Impacto Latin News, Ms. Smith worked in executive level marketing positions at several companies, including General Motors and The Coca-Cola Company.
Most recently, she was a marketing director at General Motors where she worked in a variety of roles including that of sales and marketing director of Saturn Brand for the Western Region, as well as planning and strategic marketing director for the Latin American, Middle East and Africa Region based in San Paulo, Brazil.
Her extensive career also includes executive roles in marketing operations at The Coca-Cola Company where she worked closely with the bottling franchises worldwide.
is also active in the Hispanic Community, serving as a voice for addressing the many issues that impact Hispanics, including education and health.
She holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from California State University, Northridge and a masters accountancy degree from Houston Baptist University.
