September 13 - Water Ceremony and Dedication of Pete's Room - Rev. Gail Lindsay Marriner
We return to two services this week (9:30 and 11:30) and splash ahead into our new church year. At the end of the water ceremony last year we carried the water down into the garden to add it to the fountain. The little space there in the garden is known as Pete's room or the "irreverence room" and at the end of this year's water ceremony we will formally dedicate that space. If you have wondered who Pete was or why a faith community would have an "irreverence room" please bring your sense of reverence, your sense of humor and a small jar of water from someplace you have spent time this summer, and join us!
