We had a very constructive discussion with Gaby
who informed us that none of her
projects for 2006 were implemented because of a variety of political factors and changes within WHO
has agreed to cooperate with WASPaLM
on a WASPaLM educational project in 2008 in Africa.
The countries under consideration are Kenya Ghana and Nigeria.
The choice of venue will be determined after further discussion with potential hosts.

We also held discussions with Mr. P. Cerf, Counsellor Federal Foreign Office, Berlin, member of the German delegation regarding the establishment of a common Health Terminology based on SNOMED CT.
He told us later that he has informed Mr. T. Hofmann, Deputy Head of the Division, Federal Ministry of Health, Bonn, who also is a member of the German Delegation promoting this venture.
