becomes the primary male anchor at WKMG next month

Gaard Swanson, a Seattle television veteran who has worked for HGTV, will become the primary male anchor at WKMG-Channel 6, the station announced this morning.
Swansonâ€™s first day on the air at the CBS affiliate
was Thursday, Feb. 3, which was the first day of the February ratings period.
co-anchors with Lauren Rowe at 6 and 11 pm.
Swanson comes to WKMG from KIRO, the CBS affiliate in Seattle.
He works as a free-lance host there.
Before that, he was sports director at KIRO for eight years.
