Originally from Santiago, Chile, Killing was educated in South America and Europe before heading to the United States. He also spent time in management at Hotel Portillo, Chile which, because of its climate, hosted ski teams from around the world. He has overseen major renovations, new construction and redesign efforts at some of Colorado Springs' most famous landmark resorts. His enthusiasm carries over into several volunteer and community efforts.

Fredo Killing, Managing Director COLORADO SPRINGS, CO --- Classic Companies named Fredo Killing, longtime General Manager of Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort and the Antler's Hotel, as General Manager of the new Club at Flying Horse. "Fredo has the high level of professional club and resort management experience that we're looking for at The Club at Flying Horse," said Dan Winter, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Partner for Classic Companies. Killing has worked for the Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort since 1989. Prior to the Conference Center, Killing worked his way from Director of Food and Beverage to Assistant General Manager and finally, General Manager at the Antler's Hotel in Colorado Springs. He directly managed a significant renovation and two expansions there. Killing's endeavors reach far into the community, beyond his management experience. He spent ten years dedicated to the Renaissance Academy, a local school designed for exceptional students. He works side-by-side with CU-The Springs Athletic department and its Golf Management Program, and has also been involved with Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation in the past and has participated in numerous fund raising events for charitable organizations. "This is a great opportunity to be involved in a project from the ground up," said Killing. "The plan for Flying Horse and the design of The Club and this golf course is unmatched locally.
