As an educator and consultant, Fred has served as faculty at Spalding University, the University of Louisville and Kentucky School of Alcohol & Drug Studies at Northern Kentucky University.
has also trained state social workers throughout Kentucky in child abuse prevention and substance abuse prevention issues.
Fred's community service includes serving as a founding member of The Saint Jude Guild
, the interdenominational planning and fundraising group that opened The Glade House, the Kentuckiana region's first residence for people with AIDS.
He has also been a board member and past board President for the Louisville Youth Group for Gay and Lesbian Youth.
As an author, Fred
has published articles in professional Social Work or Education journals
dealing with topics such as therapist self-disclosure and Native American spirituality, as well as lighter fare in more popular publications featuring love stories and poetry.
Fred lives on a small horse farm in Southern Indiana where he
enjoys riding, gardening and
cooking for friends.

enjoys working with people of all ages and types, but has always received especially good feedback on his
work with GLBT clients focusing on coming-out, self-discovery or relationship concerns.As an educator, Fred has taught human sexuality and AIDS intervention courses at Spalding University and the University of Louisville.Fred was a founding member of the Saint Jude Guild, the group that originally opened and administered the Glade House.He was also a long-time member of the governing board of the Louisville Youth Group for GLBT teens.
