Fred PeltzFred Peltz , 42 , of St. Martin , died Monday , May 8 , 2000 , at the St._Cloud HospitalServices were held at 11 a.m. on Friday , May 12 , 2000 , at St. Martin Catholic_Church.Burial was in the parish cemetery.Fred was born on April 16 , 1958 , in Richmond to Leander and Rose ( Drontle ) Peltz.He married Barbara Kulzer on Aug.2 , 1986 , in Albany.He started , owned , and operated Peltz Manufacturing Inc. of St. Martin in 1976.He was a design welder for the company.He invented the Roto-Chopper , turkey transport equipment , and trolley people movers.He was a member of St. Martin Catholic_Church , assistant_chief of the St. Martin Fire and Rescue Department , and a member of St. Martin Rough Riders Snowmobile Club.Survivors include his wife , Barbara ; daughters , Kelly and Michelle of St. Martin ; parents , Leander and Rose of St. Martin ; and siblings , Dianne Schmitz of Sauk_Rapids , Donna Fisher of Piedmont , S.D. , and Marilyn Lieser and Mike Mikey , both of Paynesville.He was preceded in death by an infant brother.
