has also worked for independent development studios Saffire Corporation and Sensory Sweep Studios
five years in the industry he
has been involved in the development of fourteen game titles, twelve of which have been released or are soon to be released.Fred began his career with publishing giant Acclaim Entertainment as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
Through an aggressive work ethic and a willingness to shoulder responsibility he
was quickly promoted to Xbox test lead.In this capacity he
was responsible for managing a team of analysts.Fred
also developed early concept design documents for an Acclaim project that was later cancelled when the studio was closed.After the closing of Acclaim's Salt Lake studio Fred accepted a position with the Salt Lake Microsoft Games Group as a Quality Assurance Analyst.His
primary responsibilities involved the testing and evaluation of game content and the reporting of asset defects for Links 2004.He
also assisted in the multiplayer testing for Top Spin.Both of these titles were developed exclusively for the Xbox platform. Following his time at Microsoft, Fred accepted a position with American Fork based Saffire Corporation as the Quality Assurance Manager.
In this position he
was responsible for managing a team of internal analysts as well as an external team from Vivendi Universal Games.Leading the testing efforts on the hit title Van Helsing, he
worked directly with project leads and the management team to ensure the successful release of the title.In addition to his
QA responsibilities, Fred
was also tasked with assisting in the creation of game pitch documents for several licensed titles. After leaving the Saffire Corporation Fred took a six month break from the game industry to return to his other passions of film making and screenwriting.
After developing several exciting intellectual properties Fred
decided to return to the game industry. Fred
joined developer Sensory Sweep Studios
as their Quality Assurance Manager.He
led a team of ten Analysts and effectively coordinated the testing efforts on World Championship Poker GBA, World Championship Poker DS, and SnoCross II simultaneously.Promoted to Game Designer after the completion of World Championship Poker, he designed several titles including co-designing Marvel Nemesis DS for Electronic Arts and Hasbro Game Pack DS for Atari.Fred
is currently working closely with friends and associates on other exciting ventures.Current projects include the writing of a script for a new animated television series and the completion of an independent film.
