The rest of the weekend's cast of characters represented were Jon Jordan, Tab McBride, Mike Cesario, Steve Beck, new member and welcome addition Peter Beckham in an ex-Mark Martin Valvoline Thunderbird, Fred Cziska, Garland Self, Steve Eftimou, Jimmie Castle, Jimmie Hague, Kenny Bobby, HSCRS president George Fraser & Wes McNay.
Saturday evening Teri and Fred Cziska
were our hosts at their spectacular French-style chateau and Collector's garage in the heart of Sonoma County.
There were several of Fred's Winston Cup stock cars on display as well as a number of Shadow Can Am and F1 race cars and assorted two wheel rides some from Fred's fast tracking, flat track younger days.
It was a special evening with Teri's home made lasagna putting even my mother's to shame as well as profiteroles which melted in your mouth.
Mike Cesario, with able assistance from Boost Camp founder, Susy McBride, handled the emcee choirs and raised another $5,000 with auction items offered including a case of Prisoner Wine, a weekend at John Davis's North Star retreat and the 10 days use of an Aston Martin Vantage 8 donated by our host Fred Cziska.
We missed a few of our stalwarts for the main event on Sunday afternoon as Fred Cziska
, Kenny Bobby & Jimmie Castle all had mechanical issues and weren't able to make the pre-grid.
