Either way, all parties agree that it is the best thing for paved track stock car racing in New Jersey as Wall Township Speedway ownership partner Fred Archer has announced that NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) will return as his speedway's sanctioning body in 2005.

Negotiations had been ongoing for quite some time, but no agreement was signed.In fact, a media release was issued by the track stating that the third-mile paved high banked oval would operate as an independent speedway this season.But at almost the same time that the media release first started to see print, contact between Archer and NASCAR was rekindled and just hours later an agreement was set.
"Ed Cox and Don Hawk from NASCAR really went out of their way to put together an agreement that is the best for everyone," Archer said.
