Franz Günther Cermak is adviser, DG Enlargement, Unit Negotiation and Pre-accession Coordination of the European Commission.
From 1980 until 1997, he served in the Austrian Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Vienna, New York (United Nations) and Brussels (European Commission). He has a diploma from the Diplomacy Academy in Vienna and a maste's in economics from the University of Vienna.
