Frank Gramo, a procurement official who is director of supplier business alliances for Cendant Car Rental Group, the parent company of Avis Rent-A-Car and Budget Rent-A-Car, attended the Orlando event to work with small businesses to determine how they can provide products and services to his company.Cendant's needs range from alarm systems and auto hauling services to industrial supplies and promotional items.He plans to build on the success at that event through participation in future events.

Frank J. Gramo recently joined the Herrera Cristina Group as the Vice President of Diversity Business Services. Mr. Gramo most recent position was with the Avis Budget Group as Director - Strategic Business & Diversity Relations since January 2003. Prior to the Bell Atlantic NYNEX merger, while serving as a Contract Manager in the Purchasing Department, Mr. Gramo was given the additional responsibilities to oversee and strengthen the company's Minority and Women business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program.
Recognized as an advocate for small business, Mr. Gramo was most recently named in the 2006 Minority Business News USA 100 Men Impacting Supplier Diversity. He has also been honored by the New York / New Jersey Minority Purchasing Council on three separate occasions. He received their most prestigious award "Advocate of the Year". Mr. Gramo is also a recipient of the "100 Most Influential" award, presented by City News of New Jersey. He has provided consultant services with Community and Small Business Development organizations such as, New Community Corporation of Newark, New Jersey and the Business Outreach Center of New York.
Mr. Gramo has been active in the community by serving as a member of the board of Directors of the Metropolitan Chapter of the American Red Cross. His last position being that of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Gramo and his wife reside in Lake Intervale, New Jersey.
