Dr. Frank Fish of Mount Laurel Joins Deborah
John R. Ernst, President and CEO of Deborah Heart and Lung Center, a 139-bed specialty heart, lung, and vascular teaching hospital has announced the appointment of Frank Fish, MD, as a new Attending, Department of Cardiology.
Dr. Fish joins Deborah from his former practice with the Cardiology Group, P.A. in Mount Laurel.
As a founding partner there, Dr. Fish
helped build a large and loyal practice, serving many Burlington County residents over the years.
is bringing his
years of expertise in heart disease diagnosis and management to Deborah
, Burlington County's only licensed heart surgery center.
Dr. Fish received his B.A. in 1966 from the University of Rochester, and his medical degree in 1970 from New Jersey College of Medicine.
He served his medical internship at Martland Hospital (Newark City Hospital), and his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Temple University Hospital.
Licensed in NJ and PA, he
holds Board Certifications in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
was the recipient of the Upjohn Achievement Award for Best Overall Performance given by the New Jersey College of Medicine
He held several academic appointments including Acting Director of Noninvasive Cardiology Laboratory and a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Temple University Hospital.
As voted by his peers, he received "Top Doc" recognition by SJ Magazine in 2005 and was a "Nurse's Choice" Top 180 Doctors in New Jersey by New Jersey Monthly Magazine in 2010.
