Sister Denis - who does not drive - walks or takes the bus to go from apartment to apartment in the downtown Minneapolis area visiting the homebound.Her
responsibilities include taking Communion to many shut-ins.She is in her 17th year serving St. Olaf.
"I love it," Sister Denis said."I get more than I give."
Sister Doris, who has served at St. Olaf
for 13 years, visits the homebound and those in nursing homes outside downtown.She
also coordinates grief support in the downtown area.
