As Vice President of the Software Practice, Frances Newbigin leads Sun Canada's unified software sales and technical force, successfully driving market penetration and revenue growth for Sun's enterprise software solutions.
Sun's market leading software organization is one of the largest in the industry, responsible for the Solaris Operating Environment, at the heart of today's enterprise and service provider environment; the Java platform, the standard bearer from mobile devices to data centers; and the Sun Java System family of middleware and software solutions, a comprehensive portfolio that is predicated on the delivery of secure, robust and standards-based services.
