That was exactly our thought as we rounded up Fanny Slater, Elena Rosemond-Hoerr, Jessica Cabo, and Tiffany Eslien for an afternoon of laughs, fun, and most importantly, food.
By now you've probably heard of our local food celebrity, Fanny Slater, the winner of Rachael Ray's Great American Cookbook Competition. Since taking the title, Fanny has worked tirelessly writing and testing recipes for her upcoming cookbook. "You know how a groundhog burrows in his hole and only occasionally comes out to meet his friends for dinner? Fanny asks. By Fanny Slater (Serves 10 to 12)

FANNY SLATER
Marketing Associate E-mail:fanny@pathfinderwc.com Fanny is the newest addition to Pathfinder Wealth Consulting and is excited to take on her role as the company's marketing expert. Like the rest of the team, she is passionate about helping others and has a strong desire for making personal connections along the way. Her dad, a 30+ year veteran in the marketing world, inspired her interests in writing, social media, blogging, advertising and many of the tactics of marketing. Fanny spent time as an intern in several public relations firms in Raleigh and enjoyed putting her creative skills to use in a professional environment. While working within that field, she uncovered a flair for networking and using imaginative ways to draw in and personally connect with clients. She graduated from Peace College in Raleigh with a BA in English. When Fanny turned 25, she followed a life-long dream of moving to the west coast. She spent a year and a half in Hollywood, California where her perpetual hunger for cooking and writing reached its peak through her first blog Raleighwood to Hollywood. After closing that exhilarating chapter, she moved onto her next adventure on a more familiar coast. Fanny now lives in downtown Wilmington where she has started her second blog Fanfare and shares her knowledge and love of cooking with the world. If she's not making homemade fig jam or browsing the aisles at Whole Foods, you will likely find her enjoying a peaceful sunset on the river walk. Fanny believes that her true mission at Pathfinder is to develop marketing strategies that not only create new clientele, but help build and maintain personal relationships that the team already has in place. She is excited to implement unique ideas and use her passion for food and writing as a means for connecting with clients.
