Rabbi Eve Rudin, Director of Education, Youth and Families
Prior to joining the Larchmont Temple team, Rabbi Rudin served as the Director of the Congregational School at Park Avenue Synagogue in New York City, the Director of Camp Excellence and Advancement at the Foundation for Jewish Camp, and served as the Director of NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) and the URJ Kutz Camp for Reform Jewish teens for the URJ (Union for Reform Judaism). A product of the Reform Jewish movement, Eve graduated with a BA in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University and was awarded a Wexner Graduate Fellowship during her rabbinic studies at HUC-JIR where she was ordained in May 2000. Her undergraduate and graduate thesis work focused upon youth movements and camping, and she has spoken and presented at numerous conferences on experiential Jewish education, camping, faith development and youth mentorship. Rabbi Rudin is married to Rabbi Elliott Kleinman and, together, they have three children: Emma, Avi and Shira. Rabbi Eve Rudin is the director of the Department of Camp Excellence and Advancement at the Foundation for Jewish Camp.
Prior to her work at FJC, Rudin was the director of the URJ Kutz Campus for Reform Jewish Teen Life and the NFTY Director for the Union for Reform Judaism. She served as the assistant NFTY director for three years, was awarded a Wexner Graduate Fellowship, and was ordained from HUC-JIR in May 2000. Her undergraduate thesis was on the history of the founding of Reform Jewish camping, and her rabbinic thesis studied the early history of HaShomer HaTzair as it developed from a European-based youth movement to an Israeli political party.

Rabbi Eve Rudin, Director, Department of Camp Excellence and Advancement As the the Director of the Camp Excellence and Advancement Department, Rabbi Eve Rudin is responsible for overseeing FJC's camp grants, programs, and initiatives. Before joining the Foundation for Jewish Camp, Eve served as Director of the Union for Reform Judaism's Kutz Campus for Reform Jewish Teen Life. A product of the Reform Jewish movement, she graduated with a B.A. in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University in 1992, served as the Assistant Director of North American Federation for Temple Youth (NFTY) for three years, and was then ordained from HUC-JIR in May 2000 during which she was awarded a Wexner Graduate Fellowship. Prior to becoming the director of Kutz, Eve served as the NFTY Director for five years. Her undergraduate thesis was on the history of the founding of Reform Jewish camping, and her rabbinic thesis studied the early history of HaShomer HaTzair as it developed from a European-based youth movement to an Israeli political party.
