Before coming to SC&P, Tremblay served as managing editor of women's health books at Rodale Books; senior editor of health, self-help, and communications cooks at Prentice Hall Direct; and acquisitions consultant for BenBella Books.He has also had his own editorial consulting service since 1977, with a client list that includes Ballantine Books; Harper Collins; Dell; Bantam; Delacorte; Banbury; Penguin Putnam/Avery; Eagle/Lifeline; Rebus; Reader's Digest; Chelsea House; Guilford Press; Stewart, Tabori, and Chang; Health Communications Inc.; Humanities Press; Lehigh University; JTIS/UMI; and the Independence Hall Association.
Tremblay, as author, co-author, or editor, has contributed to over 100 published books that cover a broad range of topics, including health, biography, medicine, biology, psychology, self-help, communications, computer science, European history, military history, and philosophy.

Most recently, Ernie is enjoying his new role as a grandfather after the birth of his first grandson a few months ago.
