Dr. Ernie H. Frey, Senior Pastor
Ernest H. Frey is senior pastor of the 3,000-member Central Church in Collierville, Tennessee.
He was born in Houston, Texas, and attended Wheaton College (1982-1987) where he played Division III football and served two years as the team captain.

After completing his Master's Degree at Dallas Theological Seminary (1989-1994), Ernie brought his family to Memphis in order to pursue a doctorate in missions at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has recently completed his doctoral degree.
While a doctoral student at Mid-America, Pastor Frey taught Bible at Briarcrest Christian School.
wife Anne, an accomplished harpist, met on a blind date.
They married in 1993 and are the parents of three daughters: Morgan (9), who was born in Kenya, Meredith (5), a Millennium baby who was born in Pennsylvania, and Madison (1), who was born in Memphis.
The Freys served in missions on the continent of Africa with Africa Inland Mission from 1995 through 1997.
grew up in a mission-minded family.
great-grandfather was a missionary in what is now Zimbabwe and his
maternal grandfather was a pastor.

served on the mission field are Russia, India, Guatemala, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda.
