Robert L. Johnson is currently the Chief of Police for the Landing Michigan Police Department.He has been in this position since 1998.Johnson has also served as the Chief of Police for the cities of Jackson, Mississippi and Jackson, Michigan.He is a graduate of Spring Arbor College in Spring Arbor, Michigan where he earned a Bachelors' degree in Human Resource Management and is a 1993 graduate of Western Michigan University where he received a Master's Degree in Public Administration.
Johnson's dedication and service have been recognized through numerous awards and citations including a Resolution of Tribute presented by the Mississippi Legislature in 1998 and an Appreciation Award presented by the Hinds County Sheriffs Reserves also in 1998.
Strange began his career in law enforcement as a Special Agent in 1970 with the Drug Enforcement Agency.He has served as an Enforcement Group Supervisor and as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the New Orleans Field Division.He directed the DEA's development of strategic planning system and a crisis management program.Strange is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and currently resides in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

DEA Chief of Intelligence Ernest D. Strange briefed the NDDC on the development of the Academy for Drug Intelligence (ADI) at the new Justice Training Center in Quantico.He said the ADI would provide drug intelligence training to federal, state, local and foreign agencies.
