Erike J. Mayo is a native of New York, N.Y. Erike received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J where he majored in Electrical Engineering.
He went on to receive a double Masters of Science degree in both General Management and Technology Management.
Upon graduation, Erike entered the professional arena and worked at Merck & Co.
Inc. in West Point, PA as an industrial engineer.
Wanting to explore entrepreneurship in theory and practice, Erike left Merck to pursue a Masters of Business Admin. at The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
In 1999, Erike began pursuing his MBA with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
Erike was then hired by the Wharton Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as a Senior Business & Entertainment Consultant.
As a consultant, Erike worked with general small business and entertainment clients on the planning, start-up, development and management of their small business operation.
