Erik Kortland At The Riviera Riviera Country Club and Huntington Beach RV Park
We took the RV from Fresno on Friday night and made it about halfway to LA before we got pretty cashed out from the long days. Per usual, we decided to look up on our iPhone app the nearest Camp Walmart to stay overnight. Certain Walmarts you can stay at without a problem, other ones you can't stay overnight, and this App tells us which is which. For those who don't believe us, we do have pictures! The next morning we drove to Riviera Country Club where Erik Kortland is the head of the junior program. Erik has been working with ADNA since before we started even selling to the public, and has been a true ambassador for us. He is also a very well regarded coach who works with some of the top juniors in the country, we are excited to have him on board and look forward to watching his continued success with his players.
Erik actually had a tournament for his program while we were there, so we watched some great tennis, then gave away some prizes and talked about Athletic DNA to everyone. After we did the promotional event Mike asked me if I wanted to hit a couple balls, and about three minutes into hitting we decided to play a set. Needless to say Mike spends a lot of time on the court these days working with some top players, while I spend a lot of time AT the courts....not necessarily on them. I kept it respectable by holding serve, but it wasn't pretty tennis. If any ADNA Select players want to hit when I see them, let me know, because I don't like losing to Mike, I have to hear about it the rest of the trip. After playing a set Erik was nice enough to let us use the locker room, which had a great Jacuzzi and the first real shower we had taken in about a week, so we couldn't have been happier.
