Erik was a founding partner of Sagent in 2004, is the Head of our Sales and Divestiture practice and a member of our M&A Group.
Prior to Sagent, he spent the bulk of his career in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he was a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.
He joined Credit Suisse First Boston as a Managing Director in its Mergers & Acquisitions Group after the firm acquired DLJ.
Immediately prior to joining Sagent, he was a Managing Director for the Boston-based investment banking firm of Lane Berry & Company, International.
has extensive mergers and acquisitions experience with both public and private companies, and has worked across a broad array of industries, with concentrated deal experience in the industrial, distribution, business services and transportation sectors.
Erik is a graduate of the University of Washington with a BA in Business Administration and received his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.
