Erik W. Bloom
Erik Bloom is a Managing Director of Goense Bounds & Partners, which he co-founded in 2000.
is responsible for initiating investment opportunities, structuring acquisitions, raising financing, advising portfolio management teams and arranging for the disposition of partnership investments.
Mr. Bloom has served on the Board of Directors of several companies including Barjan Products, L&S Plumbing, Norcraft Industries, Sportcraft, BVF Holdings, Dixie Homercrafters, CrossCom National, US Builder Services, Capital Drywall, Melco Electric, Kirby Lester and Latite Roofing.
Prior to the formation of Goense Bounds & Partners
in 2000, Mr. Bloom
was at Allstate Private Equity from 1997 through 1999.
During 1996, Mr. Bloom was a management consultant in the London office of Bain & Company where he advised a large British consumer products company on its Pan-European expansion strategy.
From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Bloom worked at Continental Illinois Venture Corporation ("CIVC"), a $300 million middle-market private equity group at Bank of America.
, Mr. Bloom
completed several private equity investments in the building products and specialty manufacturing industries.
Mr. Bloom graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and earned an MBA and was a Palmer Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
