Eric Hoersten has over 15 years of experience leveraging information technology and software application development to implement strategic solutions for both small and large corporate environments. Prior to DGT, Eric was the SVP of Technology and a founding member of the Redbox DVD Rental kiosk business. Eric led the development of the Redbox technology solution which grew to over 45,000 kiosks and $2 Billion of revenue. Bringing experience from previous employment at Fortune 500 companies such as Honda and Comdisco as well as the successful online marketing startup Cleargauge. Eric was responsible for the specification, design and development of the Redbox machine and software platform. Using technology as a tool to enable corporate strategy, Eric is deeply rooted in data analysis and reporting. He has successfully led the development of industry leading tools that provide businesses with the information necessary to make strategic decisions based on a better understanding of customer behavior.
